Who's In Your L.O.O.P.?

Posted by Mike Bersuch on August 10, 2012 @ 3:54 PM

Why do you come to Shore Fellowship?  Maybe you love the worship, teaching or your kids love the youth group or children's ministries.  Probably, the reason you come back week after week is because you feel like you belong.  You have developed relationships with people that you love and care for.  Everything else is secondary to the people, that's what makes the church a family!

As Shore Fellowship continues to expand into multiple campuses and different locations, the need for community is even more important.  That's where L.O.O.P.s come in.

A L.O.O.P. is simply a small group of people that are set on "Living Out Our Purpose."  They are loving on people, connecting with God and others and serving in the church and out in the community.  They are not just going to church, but they are being the church!

Wanna know more about L.O.O.P.s and how you can be a part of one and even lead a L.O.O.P.?  Simply click on the L.O.O.P. link to the right and find out more.  This is what the church is all about, living out our purpose.

Don't just go to church, BE THE CHURCH!  Who's in your L.O.O.P.?

Calling All Group Leaders for Winter 2012

Posted by Mike Bersuch on December 06, 2011 @ 11:35 AM

It's that time of year again!  We're gearing up and getting ready for another great semester of Connect Groups!  Our Winter semester for 2012 begins January 22nd and we are always looking for individuals and couples to lead a Connect Group.

Helping people connect at Shore is so important to the health of our church!  It helps us provide care, establish community and make disciples.  Groups provide a place for people to be cared for, encouraged and grow closer in their walk with Christ and each other at Shore.

Have you thought about stepping up and leading a group this Winter?  Of course, we do have a few requirements in order to lead a group but if you love God and love people and are committed to the vision of Shore Fellowship Church, we'd love to have you as a group leader!

Check out our FAQ's page about groups and if you would like to partner with us and lead a group, !

Sign Up and Get Connected!

Posted by Mike Bersuch on April 14, 2011 @ 11:36 AM

Sign ups for our Spring/Summer Semester of Connect Groups and Shore University are in full swing.  There are about two weeks left for you to get connected through a Connect Group or a Shore University Class.

The Spring/Summer Semester is only 6 to 8 weeks long so it won't take up much time at all.  Plus, you are doing something that will help you grow spiritually as well as grow closer to others at Shore!  What's not to love about that?

In Shore University, you can learn how to better your marriage, become a better parent, learn how to handle trials in your life, manage your finances in a Godly way or dig deeper into God's word and learn more about Him and what He desires from you.  I would say you can relate to at least one of those.  I know I can!

So, what are you waiting for?  Signing up is simple.  To sign up for a Connect group, click here.  If you are interested in a Shore University class, click here.  Just find which group or class interests you and then fill the form out on the page and hit submit!  That's it.  I look forward to seeing you connected through a group or a Shore U class.
