God's Word - A Meditation on Psalm 119 - Pastor Todd Maples

The 119th Psalm is the prayer notebook of a man who solved every problem in life by means of the Bible. In verse after verse he explains how the Scriptures sustained and guided him through all of life's changes and developments. The psalmist was persecuted by men of rank and authority, who ridiculed his beliefs, seeking to put him to shame and make him give up his faith.

He strengthened himself by meditating on the Word of the Lord, which to him was his comfort, his prized possession, his rule of life, and his resource for strength--all of which drove him to desire it even more. It is as though the writer is saying, God's Word is enough. If you have the Scriptures, that is all you need for life and godliness. Come and join Pastor Todd as he unpacks and reflects on the longest and most magnificent chapter in the entire Bible that celebrates the gift of God's instructive Word.

Worthy of the Call - Julie Vance

Just as in A.D. 60-62, we are currently living in a day and age when idolatry and sexuality are very much a reality. Just as it was in Ephesus, spiritual darkness is all around us and it can be hard to live our lives as God has intended. The book of Ephesians was written to encourage those who are in Christ on how to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to God. It also instructs us on how to stand firm against the evil that this world has to offer. Lets discover together what the book of Ephesians has to say and begin a victorious life, overcoming the wickedness of the age we live in.

This class is directed for the women of our church who are serious about living a life that is worthy of our calling.

When Our Souls Cry Out - Brenda Della Vecchia

Jesus said in Matthew 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls." Why is it that many of us readily admit the importance of being physically and spiritually healthy yet we neglect the health of our soul? Just as the physical body can be hindered in maturing and developing so can the soul.

If you sometimes feel "stuck" or find yourself repeating behaviors you so deperately want to stop, you are not alone. In this series for women we will learn 1. How to identify the state of our emotional health and maturity. 2. Understand the importance of our relationship with God, His Word and other Christians. 3. Experience what it's like to find rest for our souls. Join us as we uncover the path to hope and healing.

Student Ministries - (6th - 12th Grade Only)

Shore Student Ministries has a lot of exciting things to offer your students. On Wednesday nights we offer a Q&A type of study for our Middle School students. This event begins at 7:00, but we will open the doors at 6:45 for hang out time. During this event, we will take a look at issues that our students face and how the Bible addressess these issues.

High School students will be gathering as small groups in homes offsite for a time of bible study, prayer and fellowship. For more information on these small groups contact Pastor Eri Myers at .

On the last Wednesday of every month we have a bigger than life service for both Middle and High School students that is geared for your students friends who are searching. We have live music, games, entertainment, food, friendly people, and fun. This is a time where your student can be confident that we share the love of Christ with them in an engaging way. The doors open at 6:30 pm for food and fun before the experience starts at 7:00 pm.
