Jesus taught that love leads us to serve others. Two thousand years ago, the original Christ-followers served and did so much good that they were called the people who “Turned the World Upside Down”. Our goal is to do the same.
No one modeled the example of a true servant better than Jesus Christ. Throughout scripture we see Jesus consistently show his followers first hand what it means to be a real servant not only to other believers but to people outside of the faith.
At Shore Fellowship, we call those who serve our V.I.P.’s which stands for Vision In Person. These are they who live out the vision of our church every day to connect the love of Christ to the heart of the community by volunteering their time and talent in so many areas here on campus as well as ministries that reach out beyond our walls.
From Sunday morning greeters to teachers, members of the drama team, to working with our food bank, we have a wide variety of opportunities to get involved in ministry using the talents, gifts and abilities God has given each of us. At the same time, you can make a real impact in others lives.
Shore Fellowship VIP’s help us create an atmosphere where we can make an impact locally and globally and turn our world upside down. Joining a VIP team is the next step for people in Life Groups.
